Sterilization

Introduction
The goal of this policy is to standardize the sterilization process
throughout JHH Medical Institutions. Sterilization is defined as
the use of a physical or chemical procedure to destroy all microbial
life, including highly resistant bacterial spores. Procedure manuals
covering work tasks and policies in all areas performing sterilization
processes are written/updated every three years or less.
